Description
The XR227 is a lightweight and highly rigid forged wheel that maximizes the car’s performance and allows you to drive the way you imagine.
The sophisticated 7-spoke design gives the car an imposing dignity.
Over the past many years, a huge amount of data was collected from the use of countless aluminum wheels for the sprint and endurance races. This XR227 is a fruit of those data and a lot of feedbacks from the drivers who strived for the championships.
The theme of this wheel is “durability, hardness, and lightness.” Plenty of machining and rib processing were used wherever necessary to achieve the objective. Furthermore, knurling process is applied to the contact surface between the tire and the wheel to attain the spec for extremely demanding racing conditions with repeated acceleration and deceleration of high-powered vehicles.
Spec approval - conform to the following Japanese standards
JWL (Quality & Capacity specified for the aluminum wheels by Japanese Department of Transportation)
VIA (Pass the inspection by the comittee of light metal wheel for vehicles)
Include:
Air Valve / XR227 stickers / XR center caps
- Be sure to use the one that matches the nominal diameter of the screw on the mounting wheel (screw diameter x pitch) and the bearing surface shape of the wheel mounting nut/bolt (tapered seat, spherical face, flat face).
- Never use nuts and bolts with different mounting surfaces as they cannot be tightened sufficiently and may become loose, missing or damaged while driving.
