Description
These VTC Gears are well built to say the least but with performance upgrades they don't always stand up to the test.
Spring-Start has designed a spring with better metalurgy so it can withstand extreme temperatures and also with an increased spring rate that can stand up to high lift cams and performance timing chain tensioners.
A VTC Upgrade Kit that guarantees you have the right spring and proper tool for the job
For the R40 OEM VTC Actuator we've designed a spring with an improved spring rate for longer performance
For the RBB and RBC OEM VTC Actuators we've designed a spring with an improved spring rate and better metallurgy so it can withstand temperature extremes
It will work with stock and performance timing chain tensioners
You can upgrade 3 vehicles VTC Gears with this kit

1 RBB/RBC OEM body style spring with improved metallurgy and improved spring rate Ends are hand ground to proper specifications
1 R40 OEM revised body style spring with an improved spring rate Ends are hand ground to proper specifications
1 R40 /RZA original OEM body style spring Ends are hand ground to proper specifications.
