Description
These VTC Gears are well built to say the least but with performance upgrades they don't always stand up to the test.
Spring-Start has designed a spring with better metalurgy so it can withstand extreme temperatures and also with an increased spring rate that can stand up to high lift cams and performance timing chain tensioners.
Kit Includes:
- 1 R40/ RZA revised design OEM body style spring with an improved spring rate. Ends are hand ground to proper specifications.
- 1 R40/ RZA original design OEM body style spring. Ends are hand ground to proper specifications.
- One precision S2 steel Torx bit to access VTC Actuator
- VTC Gear spring replacement instructions with troubleshooting tips
